Happy Apple cannabis-infused drinks are perfect for cold weather, especially since they can be heated without losing any of their cannabinoid content! Happy Apple beverages are made with a quality emulsion process and with exclusively Washington Apples. You can brew a single serving for yourself or a pot to enjoy with a (small) group. It’s perfect for the holiday season and for curling up on the couch.
What you’ll need:
• Happy Apple Drink of your choice
• Mulling spices (for a single cup of cider you’ll want 2-3 whole cloves, 2 allspice berries, 2 cinnamon sticks, the peel of a single tangerine or half the peel of an orange, and a hint of grated nutmeg)
• Slice of butter (a teaspoon is plenty)
• Large mug
• Small pot for simmering your cider
• Strainer (or tea ball)
Let’s get started:
Step 1: Pour the Happy Apple into the pot. Add your mulling spices. We recommend using whole spices and putting them in a tea ball for ease of cleaning. For a richer infusion, leave the spices free-floating.
Step 2: Heat the drink on low with the lid on. Keeping the lid on will prevent you from losing any to evaporation. The low and long heat time will also allow your spices to steep for longer, giving your cider a richer flavor.
Step 3: Once the drink is heated to your liking, try to make sure the spice infusion is fully mixed in. Remove the spices (with a strainer if necessary).
Step 4: Pour cider into your mug. Add the slice of butter. The increased fat will add to the bioavailability of the drink making it hit just a little harder. The butter will also give it a delicious apple pie flavor and a favorite way to enjoy cider.
Step 5: Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Tips: Increase the spice quantity relative to the number of Happy Apple drinks you use. Any mulling spice blend will work for this, use your favorite!
You can also microwave the drink for 2 minutes if you would prefer for a quicker brew.
