The weather is warming up, the air is smelling like spring, and signs of renewed life surround us. What better way is there to celebrate the opening of the season than with all the energy at Veg Out Seattle?!
Huge props to Kelli Bielema and Jason Cotnoir from Shindig! Events, and all of their volunteers for throwing together such an incredible festival celebrating plant-based living with good company and fantastic eats!
It was an honor to be amongst the representing vendors this year with a booth in Veg Out’s main room as well as sponsoring the VIP lounge. What an amazing opportunity to show off all of the great vegan edibles we carry in store. Thanks to all of our vendor partners Mirth Legal Soda, The Goodship, Zoots, and Emerald Peaks who donated un-infused samples for people to try.
At Veg Out it was truly a pleasure to connect with people who were as eager to learn as we were to explain some of the more complex components of the cannabis plant, like the effects of various terpenes. We loved meeting vendors and attendees alike; learning about the myriad of relationships different people have to cannabis. The constant line-up at our booth all night was invigorating.
When we finally managed to take turns slipping away from the both for a few minutes to talk to some other vendors and sample their food- we were so glad we did!
There were SO MANY delicious discoveries, but afew of our favorites were Araya’s Place, Pear UP Cider, WoodinvilleWhisky Co, Shovel & Stone Coffee Bar, and No Bones Beach Club.
We are already looking forward to next year!
